Porch Tongue and Groove Installation

I am installing 3/4" treated pine T & G on my porch. The span is 6 ft and there are 8 inch floor joists 12" on center.
Do I need plywood or any other support to lay down first or is the 3/4 T & G enough?

The T&G is sufficient
Economics is much harder when you use real money.
