Yep, it hides my woodworking sins!
Wonderful stuff for contours on painted projects like these models.
And fills rasp marks very nicely.

The 90* elbow is doped aircraft fabric over a steel tube armature on the real machine.
That results in quite a convex appearance! To duplicate that, I used a rasp on a 2" poplar dowl. Sandpaper, and wall joint compound to smooth it.
A Woodneter suggested the rasp for this, when I asked about it awhile ago. Works well!
