I need new blades for a Dewalt 733 planer. Has anyone used the Powertec brand ? I was wondering how they held up.

Thanks

I did but wouldn't buy them again. They seemed to cut OK but I think the DeWalt blades are better so I buy them now.

If you had the 734 or 735 I'd recommend the knives from infinity. They even have carbide if you want to go that route.

I bought a set of powertec for my ridgid tp1300 and they were ok. However I have put new ridgid knives in and gotten a line after two short pieces of cherry.
I was looking at getting another big planer again but I do like the finish and easy knife changes of the portables and it's quieter than the old jet 15" I had.
