Wife tells me that we should populate our gazilion (bigger than a gazebo, smaller than a pavilion) with Adirondack chairs. Seems about right, we do live at the base of the Adirondacks. :
Smile  But, she thinks that they are "too hard". Has anyone added cushions to their chairs? Need ideas to run past the boss.

Yes. Wouldn't do without the pads.

This the only pic I have.

 Full length outdoor cushions.

I built four of them over a decade ago using Norm's plans. They sit on our deck and we really enjoy them. However, we are now a decade older and the other side of 50 so what was comfortable 10 plus years ago is not quite comfortable now. We still use the chairs but with cushions and pillows as needed.

Wife is pushing to move them to the dock and buy new chairs.........I'm holding out for now.
