SOLD KeenKutter K76 Tongue and Groove Plane

It is virtually identical to the Stanley #48 plane.  The Stanley #48 planes are relatively common, those made for KeenKutter are rare. The top of each cutter is stamped with the KeenKutter logo which dates the plane between 1870 and 1940. There is some Nichol plating loss as well as some very minor surface corrosion, which has been buffed off with steel wool. All the moving parts work flawlessly and the cutters are very sharp.   The Rosewood knob is perfect.

Its flaws keep it from being a thoroughbred but hopefully it may fit into a collection of KeenKutter planes
