Hey guys, I am selling my Tormek T7.  It is 5 years old, so has 5 years of warranty left.  The original stone is at 248mm out of 250.  So it has seen very little use.  Comes with almost all of the attachments Tormek makes.  Anyone interested can PM me for complete list.

Asking price is $650(Dropped to $620 for WN).  Pickup just North of Dallas, TX.

I figure it's a decent deal for someone in the market. I have it listed as a discount on woodnet... It's gonna be listed higher locally.

What would it cost (ballpark) to ship it to Hampton VA or Tampa FL?

No idea, but biggest concern for me would be for it to arrive safely.  The machine is built like a tank.. but the stone could be fragile I would think.

Consider how much damage USPS, UPS, and FedEx manage to do to stuff headed to my house, you are probably right.
Sigh

It looks like a great deal if the right person is local.

Best wishes for a successful sale.

When I ship such things, the key is to double box, and use a lot of wadded up newsprint to cushion inside the first and between the first and second, and bubble wrap if you've got it plus the newsprint for the interior box, and to pack it tight so nothing moves.  A bit more of a PITA for the shipper, but I've never lost a shipment due to damage because I pay attention to the packing.

Having been the recipient of several of Rich's tools, I can definitely vouch for his packing/shipping expertise.  And that T7 looks too pristine to be called used.  My Tormek is about 10 years old and still going strong!  This one is a great deal!
