Replaced my 18” Rikon with a MiniMax MM16, so looking to sell the Rikon. 2 HP motor, 220 wired and in great running condition. Will come with a number of blades, including a carbide tipped 1” Laguna Resaw King. Guides have been upgraded to Carter. The only issues are (i) original pot metal table tilt handle broke and I replaced it with a knob from Rockler, and (ii) the magnifier in the fence fell out and I have no idea where it is.

Asking $1000 with local pickup in Thousand Oaks, California. If it doesn’t sell, it goes to the local high school woodshop for the kids.

Applauding you for the high school option.

What a nice gesture...well done. But if I was a little closer (actually, several thousand miles closer) I'd sure give your Rikon a look. I have an MM16, but would like to have 2 bandsaws in the shop.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

Great idea to give it a school.
Bravo!
Hopefully the school does not give up it's woodworking program in the near future, and your saw goes to the scrap heap.
I am not an attorney, but I would be concerned about liability should a kid get injured.
Perhaps one of our WN attorneys will comment.
Those are just things that would concern me if I were contemplating this gift.
