[attachment=22232][attachment=22231][attachment=22230][attachment=22229][attachment=22228]Took apart a Santa pull toy my Grandfather made in the 40's.  to make copies. Thought I'd share.
A cam on rear axle makes the Santa and deer move back and forth as toy is pulled. 
The deer are 2 pieces glued together with opposite grain direction, for strength.
He made this on a 12" band saw he made out of a set of soap box derby wheels. 
First bandsaw, I ever used (played with) when Dad wasn't around.
I long for the days when Coke was a soft drink, and Black and Decker was a quality tool.
