After recently changing the filter in my Delta Air Cleaner, I noticed that the motor would quit after a few minutes running.  When I try to start it up again, I hear beeps and clicking noises but it won't start.  Then, a few minutes later, it starts again, runs fine, then quits after a couple minutes.

Is the motor broken, or is it overheating, or what?

TIA

Sounds like it's overheating and tripping out an internal overload device.  Is it a permanent split-capacitor type motor (PSC)?  If so, the capacitor is probably toast.
