Hey, anyone have a thought on to the use of this tool
Blade is about 6 1/2 inches long, wood handle.
Blade is wicked sharp.
Was my grandfather’s, so probably from the 1920’s to 1930’s or so.

Very well could be, most definitely sharp enough to cut leather.

Did a little looking around, I think it’s an antique bread knife / slicer.
Found a lot of pictures with the same profile.
