When spraying a box do you spray the top then sides or sides then top?

Like a table or desk, sides then top.

The Revos apparently are designed to clamp railroad ties and pull together horrifically prepared joints

I thought that was the order. I sprayed a box a couple weeks ago doing it the other way and the top was not as smooth as I would have liked. I sprayed 2 more this weekend and did the tops last. Much better.
General practice is the most important surfaces last so there is no overspray on them.
Spray top first or last
