The other day, while finishing up a project..was having a hard time finding the right hardware....was getting a bit too low...so..
A trip to the Hobby Lobby Store up in Lima, OH. was made...$22 and change later...hauled a bag of "goodies" back home...
Inventory?
Always in need of handles..

Different types of wooden knobs..

Or...

Both styles need a tenon stuck in them...<1/4" dowels work...

Pegs, anyone?

Fancy Brass corners?

Wrap the entire corner, or..

Just a Heart....

Hinges were about out in the shop, so..plain or fancy?

Or special ones?

Latches?  The kind that rotates?

Or the kind with a flip tab..

Like the last one I used for the Resaw Box Project....

That should do for a while...you think?

At the rate you build boxes, that inventory won't last long.

Hobby Lobby is a store that I will not patronize under any circumstances.

While in Lowes the other day..I picked a Plastic Storage Box to hold all the Hardware in...instead of just a pile of small baggies....

I also picked a Tap & Drill bit set....1/4" x 20

Then down their Hardware Aisle, and picked up a pair of Thumbscrews to match the tap..

And a few cheap Paint brushes....

Old way of storing Hardware...

Was a plastic drawer...New way?

Makes things a lot better, sorting through bags of parts....Will be transferring parts from the old way over to the new way later...

Meanwhile...

I needed to get these installed....

Currently..there is a $25 Gift Card in my pocket....trying to decide what to use it on.....
Stay tuned...

BTW:   Hobby Lobby is about 35 miles Northwest of me....I can go there and be back with my Hardware supplies in a single day.    I am sure others would rely on OnLine sources...I do NOT have a PayPal account anymore, since it has been hacked twice in the last 3 years....and 3 CCs ago...

Hobby Lobby is about the same distance for me. I have to admit my wife likes the store but I only was in the store once this year.  I would never of thought to look there for hardware. So thank you for the tip. I will remember it.

Why?

I know the owners are religious.

Why should that make a difference?
