Son and his wife decided they needed a new spot for the record albums so he came up with a design and we got some (cheap-ish) BC plywood.  He was in a hurry to finish it so we took some shortcuts in its construction.  Original plan was for it to be stained black to match some of their other furniture that we've built so I was ok with the plywood.  They're now considering a different stain so I warned them about potential different looks since we used Oak banding on it.  It was sized to fit inside a black sofa table that had a ledge on the bottom for it to sit on.

Cherry bedside table (1 of 2) first one in progress.  Sides are glued, now currently dry fitting the remaining joinery ready for complete glue up soon.
