Termont nail has a sampler available:

Made in the USA!
I'd be interested in a comparison if anyone has used both types.

We'll see what happens. The US website shows the Clouterrie Rivierre sampler set on backorder. I ordered a set yesterday. I bundled my order with various other things, given the free shipping.

The assortments are on back order on both Canadian and US sites. The OP and my comments were regarding the sampler (one nail in each of 6 sizes, for free). The sampler has disappeared from both sites.

I get it now. I checked the manufacturer's website, and they don't sell a sampler. It must have been unique to LV, since Clouterie Rivierre sells way more sizes of diamond head forged nails than LV (or LN for that matter) offer. It's worth a visit to their website. They have a lot of nails for a lot of different applications. You can even visit their factory, should you ever be in their neck of the woods.

Not trying to really revive a dead thread, but as of now, it looks like Lee Valley is no longer selling these nails at all. I have a set on backorder so I sent a note to customer service asking about it. Supply issues perhaps?

About half of them are still showing in stock on Cdn website, and...
"Some products are temporarily unavailable."

I got a response from Lee Valley:
"We recently found out from this supplier that they are having production delays, so these forged nails have just been changed to extended delay status. At this point they’re hoping to be able to get more stock to us sometime this Spring, but unfortunately we cannot pin down exactly when."
