The reason we want to keep the lattice and vines is for privacy.
Thinking of heating the posts and bending straight. Then reinforcing them, or putting in some new posts.
I bet if you heat them up you are going to lose all your galvanizing. I think too that they are going to crack and deform while you bend them even if they are red hot.

If your plan is to apply heat to galvanized posts in order to straighten them I suggest wearing a
good respirator and work from the up wind side. DAMHIKT

You can buy heavy-duty metal post extensions (12" or 24") for various sizes of posts. Maybe you can find them cheaper at a local fence company.

Cut the existing post flush with the top of the foundation and put the extension down into the hole. Cut the existing post at the top of the extension. Splice with angle iron and bolts. Or you can buy an extra extension, cut off the smaller diameter section and use this with bolts as an inside splice. Or you can buy ground sleeves for various sizes of posts. The sleeve can be cut to length and used with bolts as an outside splice.

I rigged a 75' +/- chain between 2 large oak trees, that are almost parallel to the downed fence.
Ran a couple of come a longs to the fence and started pulling.
Got it up straight. 2 of the posts that were bent 60-80 degrees, snapped.
I will replace them, and maybe a few others.
Will make a separate thread on post strengths.
