My thought is that the slots were made to make it fit many different set ups. Could you make different arms to fit your situation?
Or if you don't need "infinite" adjustment Lowe's has perforated strap and angle.

I know you said that you didn't have the means to make them, but you didn't say if it is a matter of place, equipment, or knowledge. If you are able to find a way, maybe you could make each one from two 1/2" bars with whatever space you need in between and fasten cross pieces at each end with screws, bolts, rivets, or by brazing. I assume the cross pieces don't need to be flush. If they do, cut some spacers and braze them in. Brazing is like soldering only using brass or silver and more heat. You can braze 1/8" steel using MAPP gas and flux coated brass rods. All you need is available from your favorite home improvement supply store. Any of the above could be done with minimal equipment or materials.

Good plan. I think that is the way I would go. Just be sure to get one with enough stiffness to carry the load. Flexible ducting (if that is what you are using) can be heavy.

I'll bet if you put your thinking cap on and bought some 1/2" rod or tubing and had a few of
these you could figure something out.
