If the pins are not glued in, they can be rotated 90* for rip. Same way you do a hacksaw.

Well, you could just shear it to the width, and the end user can file his own tooth pattern.

I've successfully cut a skip-tooth bandsaw blade to length, drilled holes in each end, and affixed them into my 12" bow saw with pins.
