Maybe 2 hours to carve it, another hour to fool around with the toner, and another 30 minutes today to spray a couple of clearcoats on it.  All said, a lot less time than most projects.

Willow turned out to be a great choice; very easy to work.  I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer in mahogany, etc.

Nice work! I got a book on letter carving. I haven't even taken the time to read it, like most books I get.

She will be very happy with your work. Going handmade over machine cut was the way to go. Really shows your skills. Great job!
