Maybe 2 hours to carve it, another hour to fool around with the toner, and another 30 minutes today to spray a couple of clearcoats on it. All said, a lot less time than most projects.

Willow turned out to be a great choice; very easy to work. I'm sure it would have taken a lot longer in mahogany, etc.
