Not sure how flood-proof it is, but we have been happy with Armstrong Alterna. Looks/feels like tile.

Will you use some sort of underlayment with the luxury vinyl like they use for laminate flooring?
When I google them, they say that luxury vinyl and laminate are good choices for pets. But they seem to be only interested in the resistance to damage.
However larger dogs can have problems with traction on slippery surfaces. This is particularly a problem for dogs like German Shepherds that can have hip problems.
Does anyone know if the luxury vinyl is less slippery than laminate. Laminate was a problem with my dogs.

I have the moisture issue fixed. I have a nice flat sub floor. I am just struggling to find flooring I can afford. The big boxes are crazy high,

Anyone used the Stuff from Sam's Club. I think it is Select Surfaces. It is on sale this month.
