The soft-open and soft-close mechanisms will help with this, as the spring mechanism in them holds the door in the fully open or fully closed position. If the door was somewhere in between, gravity would make it move.

I don't know how easy it would be to add them as a retro-fit. Probably easier on the closed side than the open side, since it's accessible.
