I found the vinegar tended to just smear the squeeze-out when wet, so gave up on that and hope it works better when set.  While tacky, I did remove most of it with a chisel.

  Use Isopropyl for wet epoxy. Use acetone for epoxy that is set up. Clean tools with acetone.

Remember that epoxy set time is greatly effected by temperature. The higher the temp the faster is sets

I love old brown glue. It's my preferred glue for jointery.
