This forum never ceases to amaze me! Got a problem? Just ask here. Roly quickly posted a motor data plate as a reference, Tom correctly identified the numbered terminals (I assume by the wire colors), and then diagnosed a short to ground on the start winding wire connected to neutral without ever putting a meter to it. Simply amazing knowledge shared right here! Thank-you everyone.
