Speaking of which:
schedule is go to Knot's this weekend, pick up the DC from mongo; take said DC and Uni to Hooksteinburger in Atlanta 11/14; let him and Jaws buy me lunch; pick up Jaws' 18-36 for my own use; deliver other Uni to SCMedlion.
Hooksteinburger will hump said DC and Uni to CJ around Thanksgiving.
At that point, I will query said CJ as to what else he needs to make this a working operation, and expend the remaining Foundation funds to that goal.
Time remains for y'all to shower CJ with other goods, if that is your propensity
So you going to be bringing any wood to knots this weekend?

Because of the hours I have invested in this thread, I feel compelled to contribute. I know from my readings that CJ is pretty set as far as hand tools goes. But I have an extra one of this if there is a need.

I dont mean to sound insensitive - but may I inquire as to why BeginningWWer is the subject of such a generous charity? Does he run some type of charity WWing club or something?

He's a good kid, getting a helping hand from lots of woodnetters.
I'm hoping this becomes a once a year community project of good will to an unsuspecting woodworker!

Nah, he's just a young guy who is busting his hump to get an education and make a contribution to society. We like him and want to help him reach his goals.

He came to Woodnet when he was starting out in WW school. He showed us the projects he was making and appears to have potential. Bones got the idea to give him a hand setting up shop and a lot of WoodNetters thought it was a good idea.
The rest, as they say is history.
See ya later,
Bill
