I've bought parts from the same source with equal success.

Check out what I brought back from Philly last weekend.
I'm not sure I needed two, but for $20 bucks each the price was right
Nothing's damaged or missing and the mechanisms are all free and smooth. They are just a bit dusty and dirty (the orange color is dust not rust). All they need is some WD-40 and a pair of benchs built around them!

Sweet!

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Deeno if you want anyone else second in line, when I first got my K1 it was missing the bench part just like yours so I started making this from aluminum. I never needed to finish because I came across another but broken one for very cheap that had the parts I needed. It's your or anyone else's for the price of shipping. I know I'll never use it. Just needs a couple of holes drilled and some bolts to tie it all together. Sorry I'm a little late to the party.

Boatman, thank you very much for your generosity. It really is very much appreciated. I will have to decline as I do not want to be a glutton and end up with 2. Yesterday I ordered some flat stock from Enco. They had 15% off + free shipping no minimum order. I decided to try my hand at welding up a simple bracket. I started the bench modification last night and should have the vise less the tilt bracket in before the weekend is over.

No problem, as I said late to the party. Perhaps someone else watching this thread can put it to service. The offer is still open.
