A friend of mine is looking for the plane that makes shavings that can be lit like a match but I can not remember what it is called.

If you cannot find a dedicated spill plane, you can use an edge trimming plane. The Stanley #95 and others like it make a really cool shaving.

Uhhhhh that does look nice. The shavings do not look as tight tho and may not hold the flame as well I am thinking.
