Ok, here's a great package deal with shipping included.
First, a full set of 13 Irwin bits, #4 through #16, in an original roll; note the #11 is marked Craftsman (likely made by Irwin anyway) and the #12 is a Swan; but all Irwin pattern. Good condition, none of the lead screws are buggered up, plenty of flute on each bit, very nice set. It comes with a North Bros. Yankee 2101 "Bell System" 10" throw brace; this is the early Bell System brace, and I like these 2100's because they have oil ports instead of being packed with the green grease as the later 2101s were. This brace is 100% mechanically, nickle loss to be expected in a brace this old, I took it apart and cleaned it up nicely, oiled and confirmed smooth operation and ratcheting - works like it should, as well as the ball bearing chuck - the cadillac of braces, bar none, built like a tank. Stanley bought North Bros in '46, so this brace is at least 70 years old, and ready for another lifetime of use.
Sold as a package deal for someone who wants solid user boring tools for $115 shipped by US 2 or 3 day priority mail. Price bits new and you'll see the value, and full sets aren't all that common in the wild. Here's the pics:
First PM with an unequivocal "I'll take it" gets priority; please include your full shipping address in the PM so I can print up mailing labels. Sorry, I don't have paypal, so payment by USPS money order please, unless I know you then a check is just dandy.
Again, shipping is included, a nice set of boring tools by excellent makers priced to sell for the user.
Thanks for looking.
