I went to a place called "Hardware Lumber Maui" about 7 years ago while on vacation. Looks like they're still open. They have lumber in the rough like koa and mango for sale. I couldn't imagine how I'd get those boards home so I bought some koa veneer.

Recall what area of the island it was in Paul?
We whack it down to fit into a suitcase, but shipping is not terrible for boards from Hawaii to the left coast here.

It's a few miles west of the airport and a few blocks from the ocean.

Thanks Paul, will try to get by there, maybe the have some more cuban mahogany, forgot to get more last year when in Kona from Aloha.
