I am doing another floating floor and was looking at cutting back the drywall to accommodate the expansion without having to get thicker baseboards, I found the depth stop mentioned and looked it up on youtube looks like a worth while accessory. I know you could get by with a piece of tape on the blade yet I think this could be handy for doing repeat cuts
