Has anyone ever done this? I know you can buy a garage door with an entry door but I'm told my door is too small for a ready made one....plus they are very expensive. My door is 8' wide and 7' 3" high.....thanks for any help
I cut it three times & it's still too short!

My mechanic has one. As I recall it only required a few extra hinges and a latch. It seemed unremarkable at the time.

one panel or multiple panels?
I am wondering why you cannot just put in a door cut a few studs out header it and install it no room to swing inside just swing it outside
