So here are pictures of the finished table top. I still need to paint the base. I was thinking of staying with a brown color.

The sides are still rough. I need to call General Finishes this week and see if I can get new material.

If you have good coverage and it's just rough from over spray, etc., then take some 1500 grit sand paper and buff it smooth by hand. Or get some Micro Mesh pads. If the sheen is off, go higher or lower on the grit.

I will give that a try. I was worried about the changing the sheen. If I do mess it up I can always shoot another coat.
