Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any good resources on how to make a Guitar?
Any tips and pointers are appreciated!

I thought about this a lot in the past years and just haven't got around to it. Building from scratch is a long row to hoe if you're a newbie. Lots of books on Amazon on the topic. I was advised by a luthier to start with a kit, at least for acoustic, which is what I would build. Check out the kits at StewMac and LMI. Martin used to sell a kit as well.

I've made 3 accoustic guitars, a mandollin. 4 dulcimers and several picking sticks. All under or following tutelage by John Ressler, at Marc Adams school. Guitar unquestionably the most complex thing I have ever made, but each step is doable, even to a rookie, with proper guidance. John even does a class to make side bending machine and most of the other necessary jigs. So I now feel competent to and have made them at home alone, even my own shop. Strongly recommend John, look him up at his site and/or Marc Adams school site. Ray Knight

I wanted to make one but I decided to start with a kit first.
I got the kit from Martin a while ago and have been researching/reading a lot.
I plan to start it this summer.
