A Craftsman brace made for Craftsman by Millers Falls. It looks to be either a 700 or 800 series Lion brace with the full ball bearing Lion chuck, and 10" swing.   I have completely cleaned and lubed the chuck and it spins like a top.  In overall excellent condition with some minor signs of wear and minor tarnish.SOLD

I agree. This is the brace used in the Popular woodworking tricks article (August) about reaming a tapered hole for staked furniture.Works very well.
