ok, so my dishwasher wasn't recalled, but they made me look.
I'm passing on the favor to you. It covers some
Bosch, Gaggenau, Jenn-Air and Thermador brand dishwashers. Problem is that the power cord can catch on fire, so I suppose it's worth checking.

That link did not work. I googled it. I have a Bosch, so when I get home I have to look at the serial number. If it starts with "FD" it is headache time.
All the brands have a serial number starting with FD except Jenn-aire which has JD. Check the first two letters

thanks for pointing out my link didn't work, forum decided it was "size small" instead of a url. I am somewhat concerned by this recall, since just about every model except the one we have has a problem.

Mine wasn't listed.
I imagine my daughter's won't be listed as it is a direct-wire model.
