How often should I flatten my stone in use?

Does Norton have a fix for that flawed "flattening" stone?

Now that I know my next step (a coarse diamond stone) can you guys recommend any that you like? I'd like to compare a few before buying.

An Atoma 400 grit diamond stone works great. Here's a short video of me using one to flatten a 1000 grit Shapton Pro.
