Nope, that's the way I see it (or don't see it) to.

Guns are supposed to be dangerous. If yours is not dangerous you need to take it to a gunsmith and have it repaired.

That's a nice saw, had one myself for 2-3 years! However, I would recommend confirming what brand motor it has. Other than the Bies fence, mine was 100% imported components.

I had one of those for a couple years as well and it’s a nice saw. Just to be clear, it’s not a Unisaw, it’s a hybrid with table mounted trunnions.

I just went and checked, it has the Delta sticker on it, but I could not see that it was an import of if it was an actual Baldor Motor.  I thought sure that I saw a Baldor plackard on it before, but I may have been mistaken.

Delta 36-714 Table Saw. $1000. Comes with the Commercial Biesemeyer fence system, the Delta 34-928 deluxe miter gauge, the zero clearance insert pictured, a zero clearance insert that I have used with a Dado blade, The factory insert and another uncut zero clearance insert. The saw has a 1 3/4" motor, i do believe it is an actual Baldor motor. I have all of the original paperwork. This is a great saw with some normal signs of wear. It runs great and have never had any problems with it, its just time for a larger saw. The top has been regularly cleaned and waxed with Renaissance wax, that does not leave any residue on wood, but makes the work slide exceptionally well. If you have any questions, please ask. If interested please PM Me. I am listing this on a couple of sites, so first person interested gets it. Thank you very much. Located in Everett Pennsylvania
