Enough folks have commented on the saw that I have nothing to add. I'll keep my comments to the Dewalt stand:
Pros:
It doesn't take up much space when hung on my wall.
It is fairly light weight for what it is.
It is very stable.
It is the same height as the Dewalt saw horses
The bracket system is wonderful for mounting other semi-portable tools.
Cons:
No wheels, so you are going to be carrying it and your miter saw to wherever you are working, which gets heavy.
Beyond roughly half the range of movement, the extensions start to sag. Enough that it can be challenging to hold a 2x10 flat to the surface.
Dewalt makes legs for the extensions which solve this problem. They add another $30/leg to a $200 stand, and give you something else to store and keep track of.
I like the stand quite a bit. I can switch pretty easily between a 12" Dewalt CMS, a 12" Milwaukee SCMS, a work table, my Kreg station, my Worksharp, etc... However, once it is set up in place, it is kind of a pain to move around and takes up a fair amount of real estate on the floor. If you need minimum storage space, it is a really good choice. If you plan to move it around a lot with the miter saw attached, I'd look at one of the stands mentioned above.
Math is tough. Let's go shopping!
