Looking to purchase a new planer for my small workshop. Cost is an issue. Looking at a Wen 3 blade 13 1/2" unit. Sold by and through Home Depot. Have a Wen Table Top Band Saw and works great.
Anyone have recommendations on a good lower price planer

Check on blades. Make sure there are 3rd party suppliers that fit your chosen machine. Personally I'd look at Grizzly if I was looking for a low cost planer, there's support available there. There may be other good choices, I haven't been in the benchtop planer market for many years.
