This is why people should consider Grizzly; AFAIK they have pretty good customer service; at least when I've called.

I agree, but when you start considering buying machines in the quality range of MM only some of Grizzly's offerings are equivalent.  And there's no snob appeal that goes with buying a Grizzly machine.  Everyone recognizes the MM-16 as best in class, supposedly, yet the Grizzly G0636 is equivalent or better, IMO, and costs less, so I bought one.  But no one has said to me "Oh, you got a G06363.  Nice."  And it's resale value won't be as high so there is that to consider for some folks.

The sales/service I've experienced from Grizzly has been top notch, though I have read several stories here and elsewhere of problems.  But I've never read where Grizzly wouldn't respond to an inquiry, nor failed to try to resolve a complaint.  MM makes pro and prosumer quality equipment, but they seem to be focused on the pro end of the business.  If that's true, they should withdraw from the prosumer market and leave it those companies willing to service that segment.  I'm sure Grizzly sees an opportunity.
