Curt, Terry Gordon's tools are first class. The tail vise is built like a little jewel - precise and solid. The wheel at the end looks like it would take forever to turn, but it spins quickly and smoothly. The vise is ideal for thinner benches, say about 2" thick. My only dislike is that it requires a few dogs of different heights, unlike others which have an integral dog which can be moved up and down.
