Building a trophy case for the neighbor's kid. The upper section will be 2 glass "towers" (glass on 3 sides with glass shelves). Between them the kids wants it to be a board where he can use pins to hand/attach things. 2 questions:
1) How would you build this section? It'll need some padding behind the fabric to "grab" the push pins. Should I use cork? How thick should it be? if not cork, what material would you recommend?
2) What's the best fabric to cover it with. Something close-knit I presume the aid in the "grabbing strength" of the pins.
