My 3x5 work table is 43 years and still as heavy and strong as it was. Was going to design and build a new one, but I just couldn't tear it apart when the time came. So there it sits.

My main bench is still a converted sewing layout table I made, and added two sheets of 3/4 ply on top.....

Built the European bench featured in Woodsmith #50 over 20 years ago. Built it mainly out of recycled hardwood I collected over time. Think I bought two sticks to finish it. It has served me well with the face vise and the tail vise with dog holes. I've noticed some linear cracks in the top recently. I think it' time for some refurbishment.
