Once I found out about the issues with the 'new' formula, I went to the liquor store and got some Everclear. It is much more than the denatured alcohol off the shelf but is a little close in price to the good stuff that's best for shellac. But one bonus, you can take a swig whenever your finishing.
How do you know you're learning anything if you don't screw up once in awhile?
