I helped make my own cyclone, well with Bill Pentz...who did most of the work, and it originally was sitting in a garage with 8' ceiling and under the rollup garage door.

Since I've moved to a shop with 10' ceilings, I was able to mount it higher and get a taller bin for it...don't really have a place I could vent it outside.
