    Final product: Cherry with Kingwood corner splines. That's my father playing the instrument in the early 1920s. We did not attempt to rebuild the violin. It is basically in the same shape as when he last laid it down.

Great job!  

Gives me an idea as what to do with a violin my dad picked up in France (WW2) All though, to him , it was a fiddle. Played by ear, never learned to read music.

Same as mine! Learned to play the Tennassee Waltz by listening to it on the radio.
