I've got 4 windows in our 3-car garage/shop. Every spring and early summer--flies congregate on 1 window, behind my lathe. Never see any on the other 3 windows. This year, once or twice a day, i've been sucking them off the window with the dust collector hose. Then leave the DC running for a few minutes. The cyclonic action seems to be fatal, as i end up with a nice layer of dead flies on top of the chips.
Wish i knew what it was about that one window--but i'm grateful since that's the only one of the 4 that is easy to get to with the hose!!
