General International 15-250-M1 Drum Sander (SOLD)

I recently came upon a Powermatic DDS225 dual drum sander at a reasonable price and bought it on a whim/ impulse. Did I really need it?? Probably not. So, yep, I've lost my mind. Anyway, now I need to sell my 24" General International dual drum sander. They will not both fit in my little shop. There are no issues with it. In fact there are a couple of things I like better on it than my newly acquired Powermatic, but that's the way it goes. It is a long shot but I thought I would post it here. Price =$1,800.00. I am located near St. Louis Mo. Edwardsville, IL. zip 62025. I am actually closer to a little town called Moro, IL.

That sounds like the General Int'l I have.  The belt is terrific; I've never had to adjust it in the 8 or so years I've owned it.  Bought it used, too.  Solid performer, never an issue.  Going to hang on to mine.

I have already had to adjust the Powermatic drive belt twice. Tends to want to drift left. Bought it used, so I anticipated some fine tuning will be involved. The drums were approx. 1/64th inch off from side to side. It was a pain in the back side but that's been corrected now. Hopefully I won't regret this change. Time will tell.

That's the same as my GI.  The only thing I found "wrong" with it when I got it was one drum was a few thousands low on one end.  I shimmed under the bearing to bring it parallel with the other drum, and belt, and it's been rock solid ever since.  

Yours looks to be in great shape, too.  Someone's going to get a great machine.  For anyone unfamiliar with this sander, the sanding strip holding clips work easily and hold securely.
