Blanket Chest, sort of......

Been staring at a 3 inch thick slab of crotch walnut in my shop for almost a year. It had a live edge on a couple corners.
I resawed it, and made this. The interior is boxed in so the openings do not access the inside of the box.
No fancy joinery, just wanted the wood to stand out.

So I see you resolved the base issue since I was over there. Fantastic! (And for the rest of you, the wood is actually more awesome than the pics show.) Great job....can't wait to see what you come up with next.
