I finally finished the carriage for this one. I think I have made 7 of these in the past, they are very poplar at Xmas time. (rob your neighbor game gift).
I use a Free harbor freight flash light. overall about 9-1/2" long and stands about 4-1/2 tall.
This one is walnut and maple, finished with Lacquer and will set on my desk
at least until I forget to make a gift for someone, and give it to them
Made 2 this year. very fun to make.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

This is really attractive and I am interested in making one.
I don’t want to over-analyze this or ask a stupid question, but the flashlight is just so that the button does something, right? I can’t see that it would be very useful as a flashlight with the light buried deep in the barrel.
