Inherited a couple of things
#11
I received a couple of pretty amazing gifts this weekend. My older step-brother passed a couple of family items into my care: an uncommon Union #33 transitional jointer plane in remarkable condition and a stunning "Westminster" set of 18 English made Ashley Isles carving gouges in the London pattern, all with beech handles in their own canvas roll. They'll take an honored place in my tool cabinet.

OH! I'm sorry I miscommunicated. lol
Rusty is alive and well. He inherited the estate of his late uncle recently and decided to pass them on to me now.

Phew.... that was a close one for Rusty!

Nice stuff, especially the carving chisels.

Good ol' Rusty, glad he's still above ground.

Nice of him to "pass" those on to you.

I would give you a "You suck", but I don't do that when there is a death involved,... even if it wasn't Rusty.

Let me guess,... he has red hair.

At least the tools aren't rusty!

That's a great haul, and all the better for being kept in the family.

Those gouges are sweet! Better build something for Rusty.
