Need a quiet portable compressor
#9
My friend needs a new portable compressor. Have an old Emglo that has served me well. Is there something better?

Thanks Slav

I have a small senco that's pretty quiet. Small tank though so it's mostly good for nail guns.

As Robert said, Rolair gets high marks all around but are known for being quiet.

I have a Makita MAC700, really quiet and really heavy for what it is.

I have the small California Air and its pretty quiet. Weighs about 30 lbs. I bought it to use with a couple of brad nailers and its performed flawlessly so far. Takes about 1 minute to fill.
Currently a smarta$$ but hoping to one day graduate to wisea$$

Seconded.
Love mine for its power and quiet, but it's a heavy beast.
